Obama is a great orator, and has shown great skill at reading speeches off teleprompters … McCain’s performance at reading prepared speeches have been dull; in a debate with questions that you can not rehearse the answers the situation is likely to be different …. Here is why people think so …

He is a high preperation candidate who doesn’t do well at improv. Life is Improv. Running this country is going to take a lot more preperation.
It all comes down to communication. McCain is a sleeping pill when he does a speech, but he can do Improv.
It will be a hard sell to get Obama to commit to his poorest venue.

As likely voters release what you, me, and a number of other people, pundits and political advisers realize. That he can not think on his feet, people that believe he is the greatest ever will see him more for what he really is. McCain would like to take him to three of these town hall debates … there will be enough pressure to do at least one; If he protests too much and wont do debates unless he already knows what questions will be asked that in it self is new worthy.
