I located the images on flicker which is linked to and what looks like the site that may have published them Tibet Custom. The images fairly clearly show police involved in staging operations to look like Monks. I first used flicker to locate local news during the fires in San Diego. You can really get an idea of what is going on during an event the way the local people see it that just does not seem to make it into the media; try it sometime. It is 3:00AM do you know who the President is on the phone with?Posted by: Wayne in WatercoolerTHEY work long hours, often to the point of exhaustion. Many are paid by the piece - not garments, but blog posts. This is the digital-era sweatshop. You may know it by a different name: home. A growing workforce of homeoffice labourers and entrepreneurs, armed with computers and smartphones and wired to the hilt, are toiling under great physical and emotional stress created by the around-the-clock Internet economy that demands a constant stream of news and comment. In the last few months, two of them have died suddenly. Oh, the President is asleep, so am I; this software has a feature that allows me to post an article at some later time so I can have a vacation and still post articles. I need to write a delayed article on dopdf it is a cool program that allows you to print to a PDF file. Maybe tomorrow. Popularity: 15% [?]

Myth, Wikipedia method of sourcing results in factual articles.Posted by: Wayne in MythsThe method I am referring to is that major papers and published books are sourced in wikipedia articles to give the impression of proof. If this were indeed a correct then I would also mean that newspapers and books always lead to the same truth? A simple investigation of even one newspaper shows contradictions; the newspaper in reality only reports the information that it collected in a limited scope of that article and in the next day the paper may have a collection of statements of people in the news that is the opposite. Case in point, Global warming the lastest news from confab is global cooling. Both stories are news worthy. Books can be found suggesting UFO are real and UFO are not real. People are incredibly gullible.” - Silvio Berlusconi Popularity: 24% [?] China has tested each new President of the USA through several Presidents, within the first 100 days of President Bush they brought down a US plane used for intelligence and forced it to land on Chinese airstrip where they strip searched it. Our trade imbalance that has been created by China keeping the value of its currency low has made them a defacto bank for US dollars, who has threatened to dump the dollar. If it was a mistake for Bush to include North Korea under the title of “axis of evil” then surely it is a mistake to humiliate China with a “Boycott of the Olympics.” We know from past history that Boycotting the Olympics does not create social change.
