Fact: Wealth is the result of effort or work done by the person who, if justice prevails, does the work.
The government does not create a profit, it has only one method to give somebody money or wealth; That method is to tax the people who do the effort and give it to those who do not. Wise parents often school their children in this concept with a story about three animals: One works all summer while the other two are lazy, and in winter the only one with food is the one that worked. Others teach via other historic methods 2Thessalonians 3:10~”. . .if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
One would not, however, understand Christianity to suggest that a man who does not work should be allowed to go hungry, Charity is needed to see to it that he is able to eat, or better said that he is able to work. Furthermore, if he is a Christian then he is part of the body of Christ and if he is unable to work he needs assistance so he can again be able to work. If your leg was ignored you would tend to it, sometimes we need to tend to our neighbors, and if we have the means to assist them to do so.
The only thing the government can do to help people create wealth is to remove restrictions or create a community resource that is helpful to those who create wealth. Those being businesses, who normally hire others to help in the creation of wealth. Cuba, USSR and Red China have controlled their economy / citizens right to create wealth, however, they have in recent history come to the realization that their controlled economy has not worked so well.
