The domain name http://www.wikileaks.org was ordered locked by the judge with a court order. which per the judge’s order it is locked with its US registrar. The order was to prevent possible confidential information from being posted to the site. The site (was founded by dissidents in China) http://88.80.13.160/ itself remains up and domain registrars in other countries out side of where US court marshals operate such as in Belgium http://wikileaks.be/ are running normally. apparently only US .org and China .cn are blocked.

Please Honor the judges order by not using the wikileaks.org name, and everyone can be happy again. And only post information in countries where it is legal to do so; like Germany and Russia.

I wonder if that judge is going to give the US government an order one day to build a great firewall like the government of China has.

I was proud when as a child I learned that the US citizens were considered sovereign citizen, that as far a the federal government is concerned we are as free as kings, and do not need permission from the government for all the things we want to do.

I was proud when the US was the first country to land on the Moon.

I was proud when I learned how much work and effort it took to succeed in building the Panama Canal. We did that.

I was proud when I learned about World War II and how we sacrificed and came together to get the task at hand done.

I was proud when the constitution worked and Richard Nixon resigned because the people wanted him too. And it was reaffirmed that every person in the US has to follow the same laws. (more…)

World Net Daily is shining the light on McCain-Feingold. And Billionaire George Soros’s involvement in it.

George Soros if you don’t know has many non-profit companies he uses for the betterment of society; His position on what is better for society includes: an more open border policy with Mexico, Legalization of Drugs, Pro-choice … He is the main sponsor of Moveon.org — You may infer that what is published on that site is in line with his enlightened plan to improve the United States.

His political contributes are generous, and visionary / prophetic ; He foresaw Hillary not being the best nomination for the Democratic party and supported Obama, before Kennedy flip flopped. I dare to suggest he knows who is going to be the next president of the US.

For some reason the current election cycle makes we want to look back at the history of Russian elections? Maybe it is because George Soros seems to have purchased both Obama, and McCain. Maybe it is because I recall during the cold war that the USSR did have elections and the Communists always won because both candidates were more or less the same.

Maybe I am trying to find something different in those past elections of the USSR with the current day Obama / McCain election. Maybe I am hoping that money can not buy an election.

This is the home work given to a first grader who speaks both, English and Spanish; I would say speaks more English than Spanish but does not speak English well enough to be put in a English only class. The school is getting money from every child left behind to teach them English.

Please select the correct choice

A- Vamos al lago?
1> mama y yo
2> ellas

B- Pasea con su mama
1> ella
2> yo
C- van al lago
1> ella
2> ellas

D- veo una totuga
1> yo
2> tu
E- esta en el lago
1> mama y yo
2> la totuga

To me this looks like a lesson in Spanish grammar. Vamos al lago? Var is a verb that means go. Yo means I. So, “Yo var al lago”, means I go to the lago. But to talk Spanish correctly, unlike English, combine the pronoun with the verb. Voy is the verb for I go. With the verb corrected one would say “Voy al lago.” Vamos means “we go”, van means “they go”. So the answer to “A” Vamos indecates talking about “mama y yo.” “B” Pasea refers to the pronoun her or I. “C” van refers to her singular or plural. “D” veo refers to I or you. “E” esta refers either to us (mama and I) or an object (a Sandwich).

If you compare the election process to a horse race, you need to compare it to a horse race where the people at the track are blind.

I don’t have much data on who Rasmussen polled to determine that Obama is in the lead; Although I do not dispute the conclusion.

Lets say there are 1000 delegates left and will be allocated one each for 1000 counties. So if you call the average Joe in each of those counties and ask him if he were to vote today who would he vote for, and if Joe had taken enough time to make a decision he could give you an answer that may reflex who would win in his county. If he still has not taken enough time he would likely still give you an answer, as average Joe believes it is important to vote.

Now it is a given that sometimes Joe will give you the wrong answer; The hope is that if Joe #1 gives a wrong answer for Clinton and Joe #2 gives a wrong answer for Obama that the results would at least come close. It is also possible to run a second poll asking 1000 Dans, if 1000 Joes and 1000 Dans come out with the same number than you could have more confidence in the number. Well yesterday Clinton was in the lead. But hold on, how do we really know that we called the correct person that can give us a good answer! Are we getting roped into accepting that the polling is correct because of the vast number of them? Are we beginning to believe that people are flacks who change their mind everyday, because the poll numbers change everyday. Maybe the poll numbers are different because of who was polled.

You will need to have a digital television receiver by 2/17/2009. In a year and one week Analog TV will go out. Hat tip dtv.gov and fcc.gov.

You could get a converter box that provides a low resolution output to a 20th century television. or you could get a state of the art (flat wall mountable LCD) reasonably priced digital television with a build in DVD player (multi disc types) that also works as a computer monitor, say about 20″ with 1280 x 1024 for around $400. Must include S - video inputs and output for a state of the art audio system.

specs - Purchase.

Please leave one for me.
