Pollsters like to break down the poll results into groups; Men, Women, Hispanics, Christians, etc. The concept is that if you know how the different groups would vote you could look at the census or other population data to determine how that group may vote on a bigger scale.

Certain sites have very vertical demographics, take GodTube for example; from its content you can discern that its demographics is Christian. Well they have a non-partisan poll asking “Which candidate do you prefer?” Clinton, McCain, Obama, and Huckabee? 59.2% prefer Huckabee, 20% for Obama, 13% for McCain, and 7.8% for Clinton.

It is going to be about which group of supporters has more passion for their Candidate. Polling numbers have been converging into the 45% - 50% range with Clinton leading on nearly every poll. A lose for Clinton in Texas may or may not have a cascading effect.

With the poll numbers so close, it comes down to how many of those people who would answer the phone are willing to take the time to vote. Dislike of one of the candidates is not enough to get them to go vote for the other.

For the 2008 electoral map: I am planing to take a close look at turnout in the Texas Democratic Primary, to see if I can garner if there is any lose in moral of the troops.

I don’t like to watch sitcoms, cartoons, or reality TV. Once upon a time did when I was bored, but watching them did not take away the boredom; They tend to keep the person watching it bored; I have noticed this in other people - they are bored and they turn on the TV … ask them in an hour and they are still bored.

I do from time to time enjoy educational TV, or the main stream news hoping to learn about current day events. As everybody knows CNN, MSN, or FOX really don’t cover that much information. And, I aways found information on the internet that was not in the news but equally if not more new worthy. But if I am going to talk about the Main Stream News don’t I have to watch it?

Here is what I discovered, no I don’t have to watch it because what is really important anyway is what other people think when they watch it or what they got out of it. So I can find stories on the internet get more information and talk to other people who watched the Main Stream Media and see what they understand … And I find I have far more information than they do about the news.

Like for example, (more…)
