TiddyWiki is a wiki that is written completely in javascript allowing you to create self contained wikis that are fully function for your browser yet still can be used on a USB drive.
These small wikis are easy to learn how to use and excellent for taking notes. On an office network they can be placed on a shared drive allowing multiple people to use them.
If you often use a USB stick to bring your data with you from computer to computer this is something to take a look at.

right click and “save link as html” to download the wikis. The application has a save function that resaves the html, an empty wiki can also be created by adjusting the options as well as turning backup on and off.
