Four young people, including three active students at Delaware State University, were shot in the head at close range in a school parking lot, killing all but one, authorities said Sunday. The victims, all from the Newark area, were shot overnight after they were lined up against a back wall near a set of bleachers at the K-8 Mount Vernon School

There are reasons why these things happen, and things that can be done to prevent it. But, bury our heads in the ground will not change anything. Self defense seems reasonable in such a circumstance, it would of been 4 against one. Nothing will change as long as we escape reality, either by drugs or overstimulating ourselves with other forms of escape. I can not help but notice how many people have buried comments suggesting self defense, on the digg site — granted many of the comments about carrying guns have not been thought through — four black students armed with guns in a parking lot! hmmm that is not a good solution just a knee jerk reaction that we have let the police have to responsibility over our safety and they always show up after the fact.
