The fact the case is three years old - suggests right to speedy trial was waved.
Posted by: Wayne in JusticeI know that you can wave the right, and apparently you may need to file a motion to have it victims right to a speedy trial under certain conditions. I also know that attorney’s sometimes delay a case to keep the client out of jail as long as possible. That suggests to me that he must of waved his right 3 years ago, and I don’t believe you can unwave it!
Makes Not providing all concerned their day in court all the more outrageous.
